Established in January 2012
is a mixed choir based in Daventry, Northamptonshire. We are a non-profitmaking organisation providing an opportunity for members of Daventry and district community to take part in group singing. We perform regular public concerts and proceeds are normally donated to local or national charities.

We are The JuditSingers
Pictured left are the two founder members, Ruth and Sue. At the present time we have a membership of 36 and the ages range from 17 to over 80!. We recognise the health and social well being that group singing brings to the individual and wider community and our members testify to this.
The choir has a new recruitment policy which describes how members may join. We offer all newcomers one or more free taster sessions so that they can experience a rehearsal and get to meet the group.
Ideally, potential members will have some musical knowledge, be able to sing in tune and contribute positively to the balance of existing voices. We do not discriminate against race, religion, sexual orientation or age or any other minority group.
More about our Musical Director
Judit Felszeghy, a coloratura soprano, was trained in the Kodály-method in Budapest, Hungary. She started her musical education on the piano and the recorder, and from the age of 6 she sang in various school choirs. Later on she sang in prominent youth choirs and was a soloist in various small groups, always feeling most at home with medieval, renaissance, baroque and classical repertoire. Judit moved to the UK in 2009 and, in addition to her international professional singing engagements, directs two choirs here in Daventry and Whilton. (More at )
